Costa Rica

De Republiek Costa Rica is een land in Centraal-Amerika dat in het noorden door Nicaragua en in het zuiden door Panama wordt begrensd.
In het westen en oosten wordt het respectievelijk begrensd door de Grote Oceaan en de Caraïbische Zee.
De hoofdstad is San José en het land telt zo'n 4.695.942 inwoners ( 2013 )
De dierenwereld van Costa Rica is zeer rijk, in totaal leven er duizenden soorten ongewervelde dieren, circa 150 soorten amfibieën, ongeveer 215 reptielsoorten en rond de 865 soorten vogels.
